Hello and welcome to my website.
My first love is engineering and the sciences, subjects that I believe are current in nearly every part of life. The sciences that create what we know as engineering are abundant in everything we do, see and feel, and to this end are naturally entwined in our understanding of, and interaction with the world around us.
My first experience of engineering was at Rolls Royce in Bristol England, where I served an apprenticeship as a mechanical and production engineer. But it soon became apparent to me, as my career followed a path through other industries, that engineering and the sciences were not only subjects that surrounded itself in the metals and processes to manufacture aero engines, but were also prominent in many other aspects of our working lives.
As time goes by I hope to add relevant features to this site that may be of scientific or engineering interest, however that is not all I will find other, maybe more fun elements to attach to my site to inject a little fun and enjoyment.
